Sturgis 2010... out and back in 3 days... one day to get there.. one day to enjoy.. and one day to return.. long hard miles... but worth it for sure...

Duck Hunting with Voo

The duck opener of 2009 was pretty darn good... lots of ducks, a couple of geese.. great weather.. and a fun group.. we had Voo and Spike, Judge Kay Mciff and grandson, Wirenut, and his two brothers the "Receeders"... fun day for sure!

Hunting in Style...

Great time... Brad drew a limited entry deer tag in the bookcliffs.. I bought a new "Toy Hauler" just for the hunt... we drove to Vernal and then South from Bonanza Power Plant.. Shilo and his friend Scott came and made the trip perfect.. they had the energy of youth to make the hunt a great success!

Fishing In Montana

Great fall fishing trip... good friends, great fishing, and a fun time was had by all.. the fishing was fantastic.. I did manage to get another hook buried in my finger.. it was next to impossible to remove... but I did live to fish another day!

Snows Lake and Jake...

Jake came down this weekend to visit Jim Braithwaite and me... On Saturday we went to Snows in the RZR and he learned all over again how to bait a hook, cast a pole, and how to clean a fish... but in the kitchen he taught me a thing or two about cooking fish.... He mastered the art of fine bait casting... and is awaiting for a skilled instructor to teach him to fly fish... Maybe Voo can instruct.. we shall see... anyway, we had a fun day...

Ferron Fishing Frenzy

Had a fantastic evening and morning fishing at Ferron this weekend. Drove the RZR from my home.. over to Johns Cabin... Fly Fished with him and "NEWBY" ... Royal Coachman and Renegade worked perfectly... we did get a few on a little grey "Griffiths" Knat ... Steaks for Supper.. and a huge breakfast at the Cabin... made the trip even more enjoyable... Oh, I almost forgot... Larry, Riley and Phillip Tucker were there in all their obnoxious glory...
