Duck Hunting with Voo

The duck opener of 2009 was pretty darn good... lots of ducks, a couple of geese.. great weather.. and a fun group.. we had Voo and Spike, Judge Kay Mciff and grandson, Wirenut, and his two brothers the "Receeders"... fun day for sure!

Hunting in Style...

Great time... Brad drew a limited entry deer tag in the bookcliffs.. I bought a new "Toy Hauler" just for the hunt... we drove to Vernal and then South from Bonanza Power Plant.. Shilo and his friend Scott came and made the trip perfect.. they had the energy of youth to make the hunt a great success!

Fishing In Montana

Great fall fishing trip... good friends, great fishing, and a fun time was had by all.. the fishing was fantastic.. I did manage to get another hook buried in my finger.. it was next to impossible to remove... but I did live to fish another day!

Snows Lake and Jake...

Jake came down this weekend to visit Jim Braithwaite and me... On Saturday we went to Snows in the RZR and he learned all over again how to bait a hook, cast a pole, and how to clean a fish... but in the kitchen he taught me a thing or two about cooking fish.... He mastered the art of fine bait casting... and is awaiting for a skilled instructor to teach him to fly fish... Maybe Voo can instruct.. we shall see... anyway, we had a fun day...

Ferron Fishing Frenzy

Had a fantastic evening and morning fishing at Ferron this weekend. Drove the RZR from my home.. over to Johns Cabin... Fly Fished with him and "NEWBY" ... Royal Coachman and Renegade worked perfectly... we did get a few on a little grey "Griffiths" Knat ... Steaks for Supper.. and a huge breakfast at the Cabin... made the trip even more enjoyable... Oh, I almost forgot... Larry, Riley and Phillip Tucker were there in all their obnoxious glory...

Another day in Paradise

Went fishing with Brad, Gary, and Randy... Snows Lake and Ferron... if you look close in the 1st pict. you can see a fish jumping.. excellent camera-work...
Great RZR ride... Brad tried to Huck Fin it... but kept sinking way too deep in the mud...

4th of July with Jake G, Joni, Davis, Curtis, and Lucas Hackney, and Katlynn and Brooke Moon.. Fun couple of days... Manti Park, Home-made rootbeer, RZR rides, pool party, fireworks... great weekend... Hated to see it all end..

Marysvale Wheeler Ride

Another great day in the Mountains... Randy Johnson took us all on a backyard tour of the Tusher Mts. What a great day.. lots of fun friends and school administrators from around Utah... We took a ride down a snow bank... Jon Bronson took a nice fast landing... and Sam Steed gave a little prayer before he attempted his 200' luge ride to the bottom. And the question for all oilcans blog readers... is.. Who do you VOODOO?

Panguitch Balloon Festival

Great weekend in Panguitch... Harley ride to Circleville, Panguitch, Navajo Lake, Escalante, Torry... Balloon ride on the "Mary Alice" with Michael and Colleen from Albequerque was AMAZING!

JB Annual, Panguitch Balloon Festival, Marysvale ATV Ride

Fun couple of weeks... JB Annual 4 wheeler ride up 6 mile canyon... 16 riders... great Steak dinner sponsored by Educators Mutual and Zions Bank... A.J. Bronson was jumping his dads wheeler off the white ledges in 6 mile canyon... bent sprocket and busted EGO!

Lauglin River Run ~ Oatman Az.,~ Historic Route 66

Quick Trip to Laughlin for the Harley River Run... Great Weekend... all the way to Lake Havasu...
